If the clock-out time is the same as or earlier than the clock-in time, the calculator assumes the shift went past midnight and adds 24 hours to the clock-out before computing the difference.
The break minutes you enter are subtracted from the gross shift length before hours and pay are computed. If the break is longer than the shift, the calculator floors the worked time at zero.
